Atlas, Density’s newest platform, comes with many new features and improvements. Many of the reports you may be familiar with in our legacy Dashboard have a new look and location, but still provide the same important information.

- A default report that could only be adjusted by date range and selected space
- Analytics - Occupancy
- A comparison chart that allowed you to view multiple spaces and download as a CSV
- Atlas Workplace/General Analytics - How many people are in the building?
Use this chart to see the building's totals. Filter by peak or average occupancy by day for your report by clicking the words under the chart question.
- Select peak (the highest number of people in a single day) to know how many people to plan for at peak.
- Select average (the average over the selected hours) to see a standard day.
- Select the desired date range in any of the charts by clicking the date in the bottom left corner of the card.
You can also filter by Occupancy or Visits in the top right of the chart.
- Use occupancy to report how many people were in your space. This accounts for entrances and exits. Please note that occupancy requires full sensor coverage.
- Use visits to report how many entrances occurred to give users an idea of the daily traffic flow. This option only requires Entry Sensors.

- Atlas Floor Level - Occupancy
- Allows you to see the peak and average occupancy for the week. Each bar represents a day in the week. The colors correspond to the Target Utilization chart, with each day showing at a glance if it was underused, at the ideal occupancy, or overly full.

- Allowed you to quickly view an occupancy heatmap by hour for the time period selected
- Dashboard - Dashboards Hourly Breakdown Report
- This report allowed you to create an occupancy heatmap by selecting the average or sum of the occupancy by hour
- Atlas General Analytics - Heatmap: How many people are in the building?
This chart shows an occupancy or entrance heatmap by hour for up to 3 weeks (21 days) of usage.
Select the desired date range by clicking the date in the bottom left corner of the card. You can select the busiest week, the last 7 days, the last week, the last 3 weeks, the busiest week, or a custom time range (up to 21 days).
Click the compare button at the bottom right of the chart to show comparison charts by floor, space, or label.
- Atlas Floor Level - Calendar Occupancy by 15 minutes
- To view the Occupancy heatmap in Atlas, select a week from the Occupancy chart in the top center of the screen. The calendar will change from a daily occupancy report to an occupancy report for the selected week, broken down in 15-minute increments. The colors align with the Target Utilization selections.

- Spaces - Entrances per Hour
- Allowed you to quickly view an entrance heatmap by hour for the time period selected
- Atlas General Analytics - How many people entered the building?
- Toggle the visits at the top right of the page, then scroll to see how many people entered the building by hour for up to 21 days.
- Atlas Floor level - Calendar
- By selecting a week, and toggling to visit, you can see the hourly breakdown of entrances by 15 minutes
Analytics Entrance/Exit Report / Atlas CSV
- Analytics - Entrance and Exit Report
- This report allowed you to pull either entrances or exits over a time frame and download it as a CSV.

- Checking the box for “Include Floor and Building Occupancy Summary” when downloading the CSV report will give you the entrance and exit count for the time frame selected.

- This report allowed you to scroll over to see the entrance or exit count in a chart.
- Atlas General Analytics - Heatmap: How many people are in the building?
This chart shows an occupancy or entrance heatmap by hour for up to 3 weeks (21 days) of usage.

Dashboard Surpassed Capacity Report / Atlas Target Utilization

- This report allowed you to visualize and understand the points throughout the week your space is quiet, busy, and over capacity, based on how you define those ranges.
- Atlas - Target Utilization
- Setting your utilization targets in Atlas impacts the reporting across the platform. You define the percentage or number of people that define an underused, ideal, and over-capacity space, and the calendar and occupancy reports update to reflect that information.
Dashboard - Meeting Size / Atlas - Meeting Room Occupancy

- This report surfaces the attendance of your meetings over a period of time, and the percentage of the whole that each represents.
- Atlas Workplace/ General Analytics - How are meeting rooms being used?

Each row will show Capacity with a number next to it. This number represents the maximum number of people meant to be in this room. The gray number indicates the number of rooms you have in that size.

This chart breaks down the group sizes that use the space and the percentage of time they used the room that week.

The above example shows that the most common group sizes are between two and six people, regardless of the room size. This allows you to see if your room sizes match the meetings your location is actually having.

- If you have added the type “Meeting Room” to your spaces, you will see the meeting room usage occupancy chart. This shows the number of people in your meeting rooms compared to the room’s capacity.

- This report surfaced the amount of time (and percentage) one or more people were in a space or selection of spaces
- Atlas - Time Used Report
- The Time Used report metrics are set by the Time Used bar. Adjust the sliders to show light use, ideal time used, and heavy usage. Once they are adjusted, the coloring will reflect these segments on the floorplan, by clicking on a space to see more details, and in the time used reports.
- Floorplan Time Used - each space will reflect the time used coloring to show the percentage of time used during the date range selected
- Meeting Room duration of daily use report - See the amount of time meeting rooms have light, meeting and heavy usage. Hover over the chart to see the corresponding spaces highlighted in teal.
- Desk duration of use report - See the amount of time desks have light, meeting and heavy usage. Hover over the chart to see the corresponding desks highlighted in teal.
- Space time used report - See the average time that space was in use per day

This report will allow you to view the total number of visits, for one or more time segments, to get a solid grasp of how much your space is being used. Daily visits are the total number of entrances.

- Atlas Workplace/General Analytics - What are the busiest days of the week?

- This chart references up to three months of data and shows the busiest days over that timeframe.
- Select peak (the highest number of people in a single day) or average (the average over the selected hours) metrics for your report by clicking the words under the chart question.
- Select the desired date range in any of the charts by clicking the date in the bottom left corner of the card.

- Dashboards - Comparative Performance
- Total visits are the total number of entrances over the period of time. Busiest day (monthly/quarterly) is calculated by grouping the number of visits per the day of the week, and then extracting the largest mean. Busiest hour (monthly/quarterly) is calculated by grouping by hour of day, and then extracting the largest mean. Busiest day and hour (weekly) are the max values for both of those categories.
