Can I paint my Waffle to match my space?

We do not permit painting or covering your Waffle sensor in any capacity.

Painting or covering a sensor in any way can impede the signal, create unsafe thermal issues, or destroy the sensor's ability to function.

The sensor enclosure provides a path for thermal dissipation, and any alterations to the original design can impact performance or may result in exceeding temperature compliance limits creating safety concerns.
