Desks and Phone Booths - Binary Occupancy
For spaces like desks and phone booths, Waffle will show data as Available or Occupied rather than count. Rather than show count for a single person space like a desk, you will simply see if it was occupied or not.
At the top of the page, you will see Live Availability. This shows the current usage of the space.
Next is Today’s Occupancy. This chart will show the usage over the course of the current day. Scrub over the chart to see the times and usage.
Note: The chart shows 15 minute increments, and the usage is populated by average usage over the 15 minutes. For binary occupancy, this means that someone must be seen in the space for more than 7.5 minutes to show occupied.
Finally, you can view the Weekly Occupancy of the space for the last 7 days. This will again show 15 minute average usage, but over the course of the last week. Scrub over the chart to see the times in use.
Meeting Rooms and Flex Spaces - Capped Count
For meeting rooms and flex spaces, Waffle will show data as capped at three. You will typically see this as available, solo, duo, or group. Waffle counts to three and then caps the count at 3+ to show the occupancy was a full group.
For capped count, this means that the number of people must be seen in the space for more than 7.5 minutes (e.g., 2 people for 7.5 minutes, and one person for 3 minutes will duo for that 15 minute increment).
Finally, you can view the Weekly Occupancy of the space for the last 7 days. This will again show 15 minute average usage, but over the course of the last week. Scrub over the chart to see the times in use.
