How to Generate a New Machine User

Client Credentials

Credentials will allow you to generate a machine user with client credentials.

The credentials enable you to generate a short-lived access token that can be used to call v3 APIs. 

Please note that credentials are not available to all organizations. If you are interested in activating this, please contact support@density.io.

1. Visit atlas.density.io 

2. Click the gear icon on the bottom left

3. Select Developer

4. Select “Create Credentials”

5. Create a name

6. Change the token’s role to “Owner”

7. You can now exchange these credentials for an access token at this endpoint: https://developers.density.io/docs/#operation/oauth_token_v3
