Can I still access data collected by sensors before Atlas?
At general availability time, you may only see the most recent data in Atlas as Density Engineering works on backfilling all of your data.
Please Note: By the final release, you will be able to access data as far back as the sensors went online. The data will be accessible through both the new portal and API.
I only have Entry sensors, can I still use Atlas?
Yes, Atlas is available for anyone with Density sensors, regardless of which kinds of sensors are deployed. If you have Entry sensors only, you can see occupancy and utilization for all of your spaces. You can also query real-time status via the API, indicating whether a space is occupied.
I only have Open Area sensors: do I have full access to the Atlas dashboard?
Yes, all reports will populate if you only have OA sensors.
Does Atlas V1 include both Entry & Open Area data?
Yes, if you have both types of sensors deployed, you can access both Entry and Open Area data in a sensor-agnostic way. An overarching concept of Atlas data is “space." Both Entry and Open Area data are related to a space such as a building, floor, or area. This means you no longer need to care about doorways for Entry sensor data.
Will there be any real-time insights into space usage as part of Atlas V1?
Only via the API. You will not be able to see any real-time insights in the Atlas portal, but the public API does include the real-time status API, which shows whether a list of spaces is occupied or not in real-time.
If you need to view a real-time Safe Display or real-time Count Entry API, you can still access the legacy portal and API. While there is currently no planned timeline for the deprecation of the legacy Dashboard, we do not have active plans around real-time count in Atlas yet but are evaluating for future versions.
Can I customize my dashboard?
No, Atlas V1 does not support customizing the landing page (dashboard).
Can I benchmark my data against external data sets?
No, benchmarking is limited to your own dataset.
