Managing Live Displays and Landmarks in Admin View

Users with owner, admin, and editor permissions will be able to access the Admin view. This view allows users to set up and manage multiple Live displays and landmarks on their floor in one place.

How to Set Up a Display

  1. Click the "Display Setup" icon at the top of the screen.

  2. Select the display type:

    • TV

    • Monitor

    • Tablet

  3. Click on the map to drop the display icon.

  4. Edit the display:

    • Create a name

    • Choose a 2D or 3D perspective

    • Choose a floor plan orientation

  5. Hit Save.

How to Edit a Display

To edit a current display, simply click on the display icon.

  • Click the pen icon to change the name, screen type, perspective, or floorplan orientation.
  • Click the four blue arrows icon to move the display icon around the floor plan.
  • Click the red trash can icon to delete the display.
  • Click the teal square and arrow icon to open the display preview in a new window.
    • The preview URL is what you will use to render Live on a display screen or TV.

How To Create Landmarks

  1. Click Create Landmark

  2. Select one of the landmark options: street (customizable), pin (customizable), elevator, stairs, kitchen, or restroom.

  3. Click on the map to drop the landmark icon.

How To Edit Landmarks

To edit a current landmark, simply click on the landmark icon.

  1. Click the landmark name to edit the name.
  2. Click the four blue arrows icon to move the landmark icon around the floor plan.
  3. Click the red trash can icon to delete the landmark.
  4. Click the green check arrow to save the changes.

Admin View Details

Mode Menu

  • Objects (default): Shows displays and landmarks.
  • Health: Shows space health (healthy, degraded, offline, unknown)
  • Availability: Shows space availability (available, occupied, reserved) as well as busyness (quiet, busy, empty) of amenity spaces.

Perspective

  • 2D floor plan view
  • 3D floor plan view

 

Additional Layers (blue icons)

Toggle the following layers on or off:

  • Spaces: Shows the different spaces on the floor plan
  • Sensors: Shows the sensor location and health
  • Busyness: Shows how busy amenity spaces are
  • Walls: Shows the walls on the floor plan
  • Landmarks: Shows where all landmarks are located
  • Displays: Shows where all Live displays are located
