Navigation Overview
Sidebar / Main View
The top of the sidebar shows the desk-sharing ratio, which provides insight into how many people are assigned to the building versus how many desks there are in the building.
Below that, all floors are listed, with each showing the desk-sharing ratio for that floor.
Each floor card also shows the space mix using a dot to represent each space on the floor, with the color of the dot corresponding to the type of space. This gives a visual overview at a glance of the types of space on each floor.
At the bottom of the sidebar, there is a panel showing the space functions filter, which allows the user to toggle on/off the different space types for analysis, as well as showing the total number of spaces of each type in the building.
The panel at the very bottom shows the operating hours, which can be set by the user by opening the panel toggle and sliding the handles.
Cards
Each card has a header with a badge that corresponds to the scope of the analysis. This may be a specific space type, a specific floor, or an overview of the whole building.
Each chart should answer a question, which is shown in the title. Where needed, there will be an info popup with additional information next to the question.
The footer of each card shows the date selection, which tells the user the time period being analyzed and, in some cases, controls to change it.
The right side of the footer has contextual actions that the user can take, such as downloading the chart or the data.
Selecting a date
Select a week in the How many people are in the building? chart at the top of the page. To select a date outside of what is currently shown, use the arrow keys by the date in the bottom left corner of the card. This will adjust the chart by one month.
Comparisons
- Space-type charts (e.g., Desk, Meeting Room, and occupancy heatmaps ) have a Compare action button in the bottom right.
- There are two types of comparison: floors and labels. Each type can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the title within the menu:
Note: The floors section will only appear if there is more than one floor in the building. The labels section will only appear if the space type for the card has at least one label.
- Each listed item opens a separate comparison chart. You can select as many as you would like to compare:
- Click Download in the bottom right, and select CSV or JPEG. Each chart that is shown in comparison will open in a separate file.
