How to Set Up Space View for Safe Display

Display real-time occupancy of your business, and direct employees or customers on when they can visit your space.

How to Set Up Safe Display

1) Log in to the Dashboard and select Safe Display at the top of your screen (or you can log in directly to Safe)

2) At the top right, click Add Display +

3) Select Space View > Configure Display

4) Fill in the display details

Space Name > Choose a space - select the space to display
Threshold Type - Select which capacity you want as your threshold (max occupancy)
Capacity - You can edit Legal and Target capacities in the Admin section of the Dashboard. Safe Capacity is set in this view
Display Name - Name for the list of displays on the Safe Display homepage
Display Type - Optimize the screen for tablet, television, monitor, or mobile viewing

Options

Show Wait Time - an estimated wait time for the first person in the queue to enter the space if currently at the set threshold occupancy
Show Occupancy Metric - what percent of the space is utilized against its threshold occupancy
Hide current count - Checking the box will show percentages only. Unchecking the box will show the number of people in the space currently
Show QR code - Select the display shown by the QR code from a list of existing displays

5) Select the content preferences

Display Layout - configure whether you want a sidebar on the display
Sidebar Content Type - choose between a custom message or show additional space occupancies on the display

Please note: Up to 50 spaces can be added to the sidebar directory. On a fixed display, only the spaces that fit on the screen will show (e.g. the first 6 spaces for an iPad). A full list can be scrolled through on a mobile device by adding the QR code option set to the active display, or through a shareable link.

6) Click Save

7) To use the Space View on a fixed display, you can either copy the display link to your clipboard by clicking the copy link icon on the right or open a new full-screen window

To link to a mobile device to scroll through the sidebar directory, click the copy link icon. At the end of the URL, add &share to create the share link

Important: If you want to adjust or reset count, click the three dots on the far right of the display you wish to edit and select Open Tally. In that same menu, you can also manually refresh or delete your display.
